Based in a visible, accessible high street hub, it ensures that help is available where people already live, shop, and connect removing the barriers of long waiting lists, hidden clinics, and stigma.

Walk in Support is available 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours please make a referral or  visit our resource hub

Why it matters?

LilyAnne’s Wellbeing brings mental health support directly to the high street, making it visible, approachable, and free from the stigma often attached to traditional clinical settings.

Many people especially those with Autism, ADHD, or poor mental health struggle to navigate formal referral systems or face long waiting times.

By being based in the community, LilyAnne’s provides immediate, walk-in access to counselling, peer support, and safe spaces.

At the heart of LilyAnne’s Wellbeing is our counselling service, which provides a safe, accessible, and welcoming space on Hartlepool’s high street. Here, anyone struggling with their mental health, facing a crisis, or simply in need of a listening ear can walk in and receive support without judgment or delay.

Our service has a dedicated focus on people with Autism and ADHD, who often face higher risks of anxiety, depression, and isolation, and may struggle to access appropriate services. Sessions are delivered in a way that is neurodivergent-aware and inclusive, supported by a team with lived experience and dual diagnoses, ensuring understanding and authenticity.

At the same time, our counselling service is also open to those who are neurotypical, offering accredited one-to-one support for issues such as bereavement, loneliness, stress, suicidal thoughts, and life transitions. This dual approach ensures we are inclusive while also recognising the specific needs of neurodivergent people.

Whether it’s a mental health emergency, practical support for life’s challenges, or help reconnecting with community resources, LilyAnne’s Wellbeing Counselling Service is a place people can trust to get things back on track and build resilience.
